Washington State's Most Popular Baby Names
The first questions expectant parents are asked seem to be "Are you having a boy or a girl?"
followed by "What name have you picked out?" Click on a year from the list on
the right to see the top 100 names given to boys or girls born in that year to Washington State residents.
In 2010 Sophia is the most popular baby name for girls, replacing Isabella, which was the top name in 2009. For boys, Jacob is now the most popular baby boy name in 2010.
In addition to the information that is available on this web
site, the Social
Security Administration has a web site where you can get
further information about popular baby names.
