Cohort Review

In 2003 Washington State began using the cohort review process. Cohort review is a regular review of patients with Tuberculosis (TB) disease and their contacts. This includes a review of a "cohort" of patients in terms of outcomes and program performance.

We use this management process to: Motivate staff, Recognize program strengths and weaknesses, and Determine training needs. Staff is responsible for completion of treatment for both TB disease and latent TB infection.
