    The purpose of this website is to help WIC participants learn more about feeding their child such as providing regular meals and snacks, working with picky eaters, creating a positive eating environment, and the roles of the parent and the child in the feeding relationship. If you explore these pages and complete an easy to read module, you will get a "Certificate of Completion." Take it to your local WIC program to get "credit" for nutrition education!

  • Farmers Market Nutrition Program

    The Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) provides locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables for WIC families and lower-income seniors and strengthens local economies and communities through the promotion of Washington State agriculture. This site contains information about the program and about the WIC agencies participating in the FMNP.

  • Information About WIC Food Packages—USDA Food and Nutrition Services

    WIC foods are intended to “supplement” participants' food intakes and should be consumed along with other wholesome foods needed for a balanced diet. Each of the WIC foods is rich in one or more of the following nutrients: protein, calcium, iron, vitamin A and vitamin C, which tend to be low in the diets of the population WIC serves.
