Regional Diabetes Coalitions in Washington State

The Washington State Department of Health Diabetes Prevention & Control Program partners with regional coalitions to help implement the Washington State Diabetes Plan.

The Department partners with regional coalitions to help implement the Washington State Diabetes Plan (PDF, 167KB). Currently there are five regional diabetes coalitions, whose members are people working in public, private, tribal, community, academic, and training sectors.

While activities of each coalition address the needs of their own communities, all have activities in common, such as community outreach and screening for pre-diabetes.
