Implementing and Evaluating Success

The tool kit is designed for:

  • Public health practitioners
  • Policy makers
  • Community partners

to make it easier for residents to be physically active and choose healthy foods.

The Healthy Communities Tool Kit offers key lessons and resources used in communities in Washington State as they mobilized their communities to make policy and environmental changes.

Bringing community members together to begin this work is described in:

Healthy Communities Tool Kit 1: Developing an Action Plan.

Implementing the action plans and the tools used in evaluating are described in:

  2.  Engaging Your Community & New Partners

  3.  Collaborative Leadership

  4.  Best Practices: Policy & Environmental Change
