 Current Fees
The Radioactive Materials Section regulates radioactive materials licensees
throughout the state of Washington and is entirely fee supported. There
are diverse uses of radioactive materials licensed by the Radioactive
Materials Section. About 40 categories have been defined for the purpose
of assessing fees and are subdivided into.
It is highly recommended that you contact the appropriate
Licensing Manager to avoid mistakes that could
delay your licensing request. The total fee you must submit is the
current annual fee, plus the new application license fee of $260.
To determine the appropriate annual fee select the category which
best describes the licensed activity and find the two digit fee code.
This code is linked to a short description and the
Washington
Administrative Code (WAC).
Discounts for Small
Businesses
Our primary method of reducing the burden on small businesses is to offer a discount on
the annual license fee. For information regarding the provisions for the
discount refer to WAC
246-254-030.
