Our Mission

 

The Office of Environmental Health Assessments protects and enhances the health of the people of Washington State by reducing people’s exposure to chemicals and toxins in the environment.  We achieve our mission by evaluating environmental data, tracking environmental health indicators, conducting scientific analysis, developing health protective recommendations and strategies, and communicating information through education and outreach.
