The Occupational Therapy Practice Board seeks health professionals
Board positions available
OLYMPIA ¾ The Department of Health is accepting applications from occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants for the Washington State Occupational Therapy Practice Board. Members are appointed by the governor to serve three-year terms. We request that applications be submitted by August 31, 2005.
Board members participate in rule-writing under WAC 246-847, reviewing reports, complaints and disciplinary cases, reviewing licensure candidates, attend state and national conferences, and provide student lectures. The committee meets for one day, approximately six times per year. Members are paid $50 a day and are reimbursed for travel expenses.
The agency is seeking diversity in board members and recognizes the value diversity brings in understanding and serving the people of Washington. Applications are available by contacting program manager Kris Waidely (kris.waidely@doh.wa.gov), 360-236-4847.
