State revokes license of Skagit County chiropractor charged with child molestation and rape
OLYMPIA ¾ The Chiropractic Quality Assurance Commission and the state Department of Health have revoked the license of Burlington chiropractor Daniel York (CH00000868). He was charged with multiple counts of child molestation and rape in Skagit County Superior Court. York’s chiropractic license was immediately suspended on August 16, 2006.
York admitted to having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl since she was eight. The legal documents associated to this case are available by calling 360-236-4700 or online by clicking the link to "Provider Credential Search" on the agency home page (www.doh.wa.gov/).
Consumers who believe a health care provider acted unprofessionally are encouraged to call Health Professions Quality Assurance, 360-236-4700, to report their complaint. The Chiropractic Quality Assurance Commission regulates chiropractors in Washington. The commission establishes, monitors, and enforces qualifications for licensing, consistent standards of practice, continuing competency mechanisms and discipline.
