Pelican Point Water Company Lifts Boil Water Advisory

MOSES LAKE ¾  The Pelican Point Water Company has advised its customers that it is no longer necessary to boil their drinking water or purchase treated bottled water. The system was disinfected, flushed, and inspected by the Grant County Health Department. Subsequent samples showed the E. coli had been eliminated.

There are no reported illnesses related to the boil water advisory, which was issued Saturday.

“We’re very pleased our efforts brought our water system back up to standard so quickly,” said Huck Goodrich, owner of Pelican Point Water Company. “We went right to work on it and the Grant County Health Department came out quickly to inspect.”

Water system customers were notified that the water was again safe to drink by a letter posted on the doors of residences Wednesday afternoon.

Customers with questions should call the Pelican Point Water System at 509-765-3608.
