King County counselor suspended for sexual misconduct
OLYMPIA ¾ Sexual contact with a minor led the state Department of Health to immediately suspend a King County counselor. Flor Mari Crisostomo (RC00029110 and LF00002586), a registered counselor and licensed marriage and family therapist, has been suspended on allegations of sexual misconduct.
The charges say Crisostomo had sexual contact with a teenager who was a detainee at the King County Youth Services Center. Crisostomo allegedly coaxed the minor into engaging in sex in exchange for extra privileges, such as candy and additional telephone calls.
Crisostomo cannot practice as a counselor pending resolution of the charges. She has 20 days to respond and has the right to request a prompt hearing or settlement conference.
