Water advisory ends for customers of the Y Bar S Water System
OLYMPIA ¾ Customers of the Y Bar S Water System near Enumclaw can stop boiling their drinking water. The water is safe to drink.
A boil water advisory was issued yesterday for the 105 households served by the water system after E. coli bacteria were found in a routine drinking water sample. Follow-up tests showed no sign of the bacteria.
The advisory was only for Y Bar S Water System customers. It didn’t affect people who receive their drinking water from the City of Enumclaw.
Customers with concerns should contact the system operator Iliad Water Inc., at 800-928-3750.
