Pierce County registered counselor revoked for having sex with a child

OLYMPIA ¾ The registered counselor credential of Jennifer L. Rice (RC00037816) has been revoked for 20 years. The state Department of Health suspended Rice immediately on October 9, 2007; her registration was revoked when she failed to respond to the charges.

Rice admitted to having sexual intercourse with a 10-year old boy on at least five occasions and taking the boy on a road trip without his parent’s permission. Rice has also been criminally charged with six counts of first degree child rape, four counts of first degree child molestation and two counts of third degree child rape; she was a teacher at McKinley Elementary School in Pierce County.
