Pierce County pharmacist suspended for drug diversion
OLYMPIA ¾ The license of pharmacist Krzysztof K. Pawlowski (PH00017610) has been immediately suspended by the state Board of Pharmacy and Department of Health.
Charges say Pawlowski diverted controlled substances from several pharmacies where he worked. This occurred while he was subject to conditions of an order by the Pharmacy Board for a previous drug diversion case. Pawlowski also faces three felony charges in criminal court of attempting to obtain controlled substances by fraud, deceit or misrepresentation.
Legal documents are available online by clicking the link to "Provider Credential Search" on the Department of Health Web site (www.doh.wa.gov) or by calling 360-236-4700. Anyone who believes a health care provider acted unprofessionally is encouraged to call that number to report their complaint.
The Board of Pharmacy regulates pharmacists in Washington. The program establishes, monitors and enforces qualifications for licensing, consistent standards of practice, continuing competency mechanisms and discipline. Rules, policies and procedures promote the delivery of quality health care to state residents.
