OLYMPIA ¾ The nursing and nursing assistant credentials of Ethan Hansen (RN00170167, LP00057938 and NC10084604) have been suspended on sexual misconduct charges. According to the statement of charges, Hansen admitted that he sexually assaulted two preschool-age girls.
The immediate action was taken by the state Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission and the Department of Health. Hansen cannot practice or work as a registered nurse, licensed practical nurse or certified nursing assistant pending resolution of the charges.
Hansen has 20 days to respond and has the right to request a prompt hearing or settlement conference. The charging documents are online; click the link to Provider Credential Search on the Department of Health Web site (www.doh.wa.gov) or call 360-236-4700. Anyone who believes a health care provider acted unprofessionally is encouraged to call that number to report their complaint.
