Boil-water advisory ends for East King County development
OLYMPIA - Residents of the Riverbend development in East King County no longer
have to boil their drinking water.
The water has been retested and meets safe
drinking water standards.
The Riverbend Homeowners Association water system
issued the advisory Friday evening after routine monitoring tests showed that E.
coli might be in the system. However, 10 additional water samples were collected
and tests show the current water quality is good.
The advisory applied only to Riverbend Homesites, consisting of 533 homes and about 1,600 people. The
development is off Interstate 90 Exit 32, east of North Bend.
