2004 Tobacco Cessation Media Campaign "Keep Trying"
The objective of this campaign was to move smokers
through the stages of change, and driving them to call the quit line or
visit the Web site. Quitting is a process, not an event. A failed
attempt equates to success because it is one step closer to quitting.
Don’t give up. It is directed at ages 18+. The ads ran from January thru
December 2004.
Images of some of the ads are downloadable from this page for use by
Department of Health tobacco prevention contractors. The text or

availability of other ads for print or broadcast, contact the Tobacco
Prevention and Control Program at 360-236-3730.
