2004 Secondhand Smoke Media Campaign
"Protecting Loved Ones"

This campaign ran from January thru June, 2004, with a three-fold purpose:  (1) Target smokers while they are smoking; (2) Target smokers while they are with their kids; and (3) Reach smokers before they purchase their tobacco.  Media outlets included TV (ads created by other states), radio and billboards; signage was used in family restaurants, day care centers, recreation centers, schools, nurseries and at grocery stores.

For information about the availability of other ads for print or broadcast, contact the Tobacco Prevention and Control Program at 360-236-3730.
