Energize Your Life! Eat Healthy-Be Active

“Energize Your Life! Eat Healthy-Be Active” is a message for all of us about the importance of nutrition and physical activity for health.

The Department of Health “Energize” car can be spotted statewide at farmers markets, conferences and health fairs. The colorful car was introduced at the grand opening of the Tumwater Town Center Farmers Market in June 2006.

The Energize car has a box stored in the trunk of the vehicle, stocked with literature, store coupons, farmers’ market tokens and promotional items such as beanbag toys in the shapes of vegetables and fruits.

For more information about the program, contact Amy Ellings, Nutrition Consultant, 360-236-3754
