The Office of the Assistant Secretary

The Office of the Assistant Secretary supports the programs and services that make up the Prevention and Community Health Division. In addition to the Chief Administrator, it consists of three sections: the Office of Healthy Communities, the Office of Immunization and Child Profile and the Office of Nutrition Services. Internally, we work closely with division staff, other divisions, Office of the Secretary, and Central Administration to fulfill this role. Externally, we partner with other state agencies, local health, and key stakeholder groups. This supports our mission to collaborate with our partners to enhance the health of individuals, families, and communities. We work to prevent disease and promote a healthy start, healthy choices, and access to services.
