Capturing a Screen Print

  1. Press the Print Screen button (PrintScrn/SysRq) located at the upper right hand side of your keyboard.
  2. Push the Ctrl button AND the C button located at the lower left hand side of your keyboard. Both “Ctrl” and “C” button must be pushed at the same time or it will not work. This will copy what is showing on your screen on to the computer’s clipboard.
  3. Click on the Start button at the lower left corner of your screen.
  4. Select Programs.
  5. Select Microsoft Office.
  6. Select Microsoft Office Word and open a new document.
  7. Push Ctrl button AND the V button located at the lower left hand side of your keyboard at the same time. This will paste the screen you copied from Client Services into the blank Word document.
  8. Print the document. You do not need to save the screen print in the computer once you have printed your copy.
  9. Close Word.

Fax it to CIMS Support at 360-236-2345 or email it to CIMS.Support@doh.wa.gov.
