Eligible Families Are Missing Out On WIC!

Did you know?

• WIC is a public health prevention program that reduces low birth weight, improves immunization rates and promotes breastfeeding.
• WIC serves working families and families receiving Medicaid and foster children.
• WIC income guidelines are higher than many other programs.
• Many eligible families are missing out on WIC because they think they are over income.

How can you help?

• Order Free WIC outreach flyers and posters online at WithinReach.
• Give the materials to the families you serve.
• Refer families to a WIC clinic in your area.
• Encourage families to call the Family Health Hotline at 1-800-322-2588 to see if they are eligible.
