What you can find...

The Washington State WIC Nutrition Program offers training to local WIC staff including coordinators, nutritionists, nurses, certifiers, clerks, administrators, and other front line staff.  Trainers and presenters are experienced WIC staff and/or are experts in the field of health, nutrition, and management.

Registration & Travel

How to register for training

1. Obtain supervisor approval.
2. Submit a training registration form (38.96 KB) or call 1-800-841-1410 ext. 3627.

A confirmation packet will be mailed to registered trainees.

Limited space is available for each training. When the maximum number of trainees has been reached, individuals will be placed on a waiting list. If a space becomes available, those on the waiting list will be contacted on a first-come-first-served basis.

Travel information

• All registered trainees must submit a signed Authorization for Travel Form (36.07 KB) whether they plan to request travel reimbursement or not.
• Please review the Travel & Lodging Reimbursement Guidelines (96 KB).  Suggested lodging options and air travel information are included in this document.
• Get directions to the WIC Training Center.
• At the end of the training session, those who request travel reimbursement will submit an original, signed A-19 Travel Reimbursement Form (63.13 KB) and all required receipts.
