The Washington State WIC Nutrition Program offers training to local WIC staff including coordinators, nutritionists, nurses, certifiers, clerks, administrators, and other front line staff. Trainers and presenters are experienced WIC staff and/or are experts in the field of health, nutrition, and management.

Core WIC Training

March 13–16, 2012

Obtain supervisor approval before submitting a training registration form. A confirmation packet will be mailed to registered trainees.

We will place individuals on a waiting list if the maximum number of trainees is reached. We will contact those on the waiting list on a first-come first-served basis as space becomes available.

Travel information

Due to budget reductions we are not reimbursing travel costs. Agencies will need to pay travel expenses for their employees. We will explore options if an agency cannot cover these costs.
