  • New Food Choices Starts October 1, 2009

Starting October 1, 2009 WIC will be providing new food choices! WIC foods are changing to provide more healthy choices, more variety and supporting breastfeeding. Learn more about these important changes.

From October through December 2009 some clients will be using the “old” salmon-colored checks. They should use the salmon-colored food brochure to select the correct foods. Other clients will be using the “new” blue checks and should use the blue-colored food brochure and the Approved Foods Update to select the correct foods.
