How the Child Profile Immunization Registry Works
Health
care providers register as users of the Child Profile
Immunization Registry. Using a Web-based format, they can access
their patients’ demographic and immunization data in the
Immunization Registry and update it with new immunizations as they're given.
This user-friendly system allows for quick entry of
both historic and new data. The resulting database provides a
complete immunization history that can be viewed, updated, and
printed for parents, school, or camp requests. In addition, the
Immunization Registry helps physicians manage patient care and immunization
reporting. It can also generate clinic-specific recall lists of
kids past due for vaccines and create vaccine
accountability and benchmarking reports. The Immunization Registry is free-of-charge to registered users.
