Building a Statewide Network
One of the goals in the
Washington State Diabetes
Plan (PDF, 167KB) is to build statewide and regional coalitions to initiate
and coordinate diabetes-related activities across Washington.
The Washington State Diabetes Network
and Leadership Team:
Network members are people in public,
private, tribal, community, academic, and training sectors who
work to prevent and control diabetes.The Leadership Team
is the governing body for the network. Currently, there are 20
members.
Regional Diabetes Coalitions in Washington:
The Department of Health partners
with regional coalitions to help implement the state diabetes
plan.
Washington State Diabetes Connection:
The
Diabetes Connection is the Web portal for
the Washington State Diabetes Network.
