EIP Card & How to Use It
The Washington State Early Intervention Program (EIP) helps eligible persons who live in Washington get
health care for their HIV. EIP is not insurance. EIP is a program that helps pay for a variety of HIV services including health insurance premiums.
Once you are approved for EIP coverage, you will receive an eligibility letter and
EIP Medical ID card. You must show your card to each provider at every visit.
You must go to providers who contract with EIP. This card will notify your
provider that they should bill your insurance company and EIP.
