ATF Past Meeting Activities (2005-2006)

The ATF met September 7, 2006 to review the draft recommendations, including public comment.  Following the September 7 meeting, the Task Force report will be finalized and submitted to the Governor's Office by December 1.

The ATF met May 22, 2006.

The ATF met April 24, 2006.  The meeting will focus on parents and adults living with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

The ATF met March 13, 2006.

The ATF met February 13, 2006

The ATF met January 4, 2006 to continue to present what is known about the elements of effective programs and services, in an effort to identify best practices.

The ATF met December 8, 2005:

  • To begin to present what is known about the elements of effective programs and services for individuals with autism spectrum disorders, in an effort to identify best practices;
  • To begin to examine the education and training needs of professionals in the educational setting who serve individuals with autism spectrum disorders;
  • To begin to identify efforts to strengthen community support for individuals with autism spectrum disorders.

The ATF met November 14, 2005 to begin review of current scientific research related to causation, diagnosis, prevalence and treatment of autism spectrum disorders.
