Access and Care Coordination

Infant and Child Health

Child Health promotes, informs, and assures systems, processes, policies, awareness, and mechanisms are in place for healthy development and well-being of children prenatally and from birth through 11 years.

Our goals are:

  • All children in Washington will have good health and development; positive learning experiences; and be healthy, ready and successful.

  • Decrease disparities in children’s health and developmental well-being, including mental and physical.

  • Promote system building activities, connections and linkages through a coordinated approach that results in improved access to health care, parents knowledge about available services, health care, child development, and healthy and safe environments of care.
