About Us

The ultimate goal of the Office of Health Promotion (OHP) is to contribute to the health of individuals, groups and communities in Washington State. We work with local public health agencies, schools, community partners, and programs within the Department of Health to achieve this goal.

The staff in our office do many things. You may see us planning health promotion campaigns, providing consultations, designing publications, managing funding to local communities, conducting workshops or developing  websites among other things. Here are some examples of projects that we have worked on:

You can also view samples of publications that we have produced, consulted on and assisted with in our portfolio. Please contact us for more information at (360) 236-3736.
