This booklet, first published in 2003, represents a major
contribution to healthy aging resources in our state. The
Office of Health Promotion provided writing, editing, design
and layout assistance with the help of a CDC prevention
specialist who worked on the project for two years. |

and Health Services in the late 1980s. It is one of
the most requested publications distributed by the
Department of Health, and has been adapted by other
states. The Office of Health Promotion maintains this poster and oversees translations. |

This shingle-cut brochure, produced by the
Family Planning and
Reproductive Health program at the Department of Health, is another one of the
Department of Health's most requested publications. This
updated version includes a section with healthy living
messages for women that were developed using focus groups. The
Office of Health Promotion
provided assistance with audience testing, editing, photography, design and

WIC
(Women, Infants & Children Nutrition) program at the
Department of Health is one of a series of 12 nutrition and child
development brochures. Through field testing and evaluation,
the Office of Health Promotion helped to adapt the brochures for nine languages,
including cultural appropriateness. |
