Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring
System (PRAMS) |
| |
PRAMS is a
joint research project between the
Washington State Department of Health
and the Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC). PRAMS is an
ongoing mail/telephone survey of women
who have recently given birth. New
mothers help by answering questions
about their behaviors and experiences
before, during, and shortly after
pregnancy. This helps us learn
more about why some babies are born
healthy and others not. |

Report 2005 (PDF, 704 KB) |

The Children
with Special Health Care Needs Program
serves children who have serious
physical, behavioral, or emotional
conditions that require health and
related services beyond those required
by children generally. In
Washington State, children who
participate in this program must be
under the age of 18 years at initial
enrollment and have, or be at risk of
developing, a serious or chronic
condition. Some children who are
already part of the program may be able
to continue services until the
twenty-first birthday for purposes of
transition to adult care. |
