Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF)
Low Interest Loans for Public Water Systems

2009 DWSRF Funding Cycle

We are now reviewing applications submitted for the 2009 DWSRF fall funding cycle. We received 48 new applications. Once we review and score your applications, we will post a draft funding list in early 2010.

Systems that applied for Economic Recovery Funding

We contacted all unfunded Economic Recovery applicants to ask them if they want their application and score "rolled over" to the fall cycle. These systems will not need to submit a new application. We rolled over 92 Economic Recovery applications and scores to the 2009 fall DWSRF funding cycle.

Drinking Water State Revolving Fund

The DWSRF is a federal/state partnership program designed to:

  • Provide loans to public water systems for capital improvements aimed at increasing public health protection.

  • Provide a source of funds for other Safe Drinking Water Act activities.
