Certification for Drug Lab Cleanup

About Certification | Worker | Supervisor | Contractor | Training Provider | Decontamination Resources


To work as a clandestine drug lab decontamination worker, supervisor, contractor, or training provider in Washington state, an individual must obtain and maintain certification through the state Department of Health's Clandestine Drug Lab Program.

Type of Certification Cycle Fee
Worker 2 years $100 Initial (prorated at $4.16 per month)
$50 Renewal (prorated at $2.08 per month)
Supervisor 2 years $200 Initial (prorated at $8.33 per month)
$150 Renewal (prorated at $4.16 per month)
Contractor 1 year $1,125 Initial & Renewal
Training Provider 2 years $1,000 Initial (prorated at $41.66 per month)
$500 Renewal (prorated at $20.83 per month)
