Contractor Certification for Drug Lab Cleanup

About Certification | Worker | Supervisor | Contractor | Training Provider | Cleanup Resources


The following steps must be completed to become a certified clandestine drug lab decontamination contractor. Contractor certification lasts for 1 year. To determine the exact application fee, see the Contractor Certification Application Form below.

Step 1

Be licensed, bonded, and insured as a Washington State General Contractor (L&I)

Step 2

Have a minimum of two Department of Health certified drug lab decontamination employees, at least one of which must be a certified supervisor.

Step 3

Submit a Contractor Certification Application Form (PDF 54KB).
