Group A Public Water Supplies: Chapter 246-290 WAC This rule sets requirements for Group A public water systems, effective October 1, 2011. You can also download Code of Federal Regulations (PDF).
Group B Public Water Systems:
Chapter 246-291 WAC
This rule sets requirements for Group B public water systems, effective November 4, 1995.
Water Works Operator Certification:
Chapter 246-292 WAC
This rule sets requirements for certified water works operators, effective December 23, 2005.
Water System Coordination Act:
Chapter 246-293 WAC
This rule sets requirements to evaluate and determine critical water supply service areas, and coordinate public water system planning, effective September 29, 1997.
Drinking Water Operating Permits:
Chapter 246-294 WAC
This rule sets requirements for Group A public water systems required to have an annual drinking water operating permit, effective April 1, 2004.
Satellite System Management Agencies:
Chapter 246-295 WAC
This rule sets requirements for entities seeking approval to operate more than one public water system, effective September 6, 1994.
Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Loan Program: Chapter 246-296 WAC This rule sets requirements for public water systems seeking funding assistance for infrastructure improvements, effective March 1, 2012.
Office of Drinking Water Fee Schedule (PDF 142 KB) - This document contains the fee schedules for:
  • Group A and B public water systems, WAC 246-290-990;
  • Water Works Operator Certification, WAC 246-292-160; and
  • Drinking Water Operating Permits, WAC 246-294-070.
