In celebration of Drinking Water Week, May 4-10, 2008, the Department of Health’s Office of Drinking Water recognizes individuals and organizations (news release) for their commitment to providing safe and reliable drinking water. 

The recognition program is part of a national observance sponsored by the American Water Works Association. It is an opportunity for water utilities across North America and their communities to celebrate our most precious natural resource.
