Maps 2009 West Nile Virus Surveillance
Surveillance maps and statistics are updated daily by 3 PM. Above table represents cases of West Nile virus acquired in the state. Human cases are listed by county of residence. 2 blood donors, not listed in this table were detected. One resides in Benton County and the other in Yakima County. *Note: One patient resides in Whatcom County, but was exposed to the virus while traveling in eastern Washington. One patient resides in Spokane County and one in King County, but were likely exposed while in Yakima County.
