Where to find the H1N1 vaccine in your community

Vaccine has been arriving in Washington—in limited quantities—since early October. The federal government has said there will be enough H1N1 vaccine to meet the demand in the weeks to come, but—for now—supplies are still limited. As vaccine is delivered, first doses are going to high-priority groups including health-care providers, children, and people with medical conditions that put them at risk. (As more vaccine is available this fall, we encourage everyone to get vaccinated for H1N1.)

More vaccine will be shipped to states in the coming weeks. As it is delivered, we will post more information about how to find it in your community on this Web site.

For more information on vaccine availability in your area, please select your county on the map or list below.

We appreciate your desire to protect yourself and your family from this new virus with a vaccination. Until we can meet all of the demand, please remember to wash your hands, cover your cough, and stay home when you are sick.

If you or your family members catch the flu, you will likely feel sick for up to a week. It is important to keep the sick person hydrated by drinking lots of fluids and help keep the fever down with non-aspirin fever-reducing medication. Stay home until 24-hours after the fever is gone (without the use of medication), and call your healthcare provider if symptoms get worse.

For more information:
