As of July 1, 2011, our division helped oversee more than 380,000 health professional credentials and 7,000 facilities. We license workers in 79 health professions.

We work closely with communities. This helps make sure their residents have good health care and emergency medical services.

When we receive a complaint, we respond. Each year we review over 8,800 complaints and inspect thousands of health care facilities.
