Chemical Dependency Professional Trainee (CDPT) Certification Requirements

This is general information. WAC 246-811 includes more detailed information.

To qualify as a CDPT you must complete:

  • The application
  • Completed declaration that the applicant is in an enrolled school and gaining the experience required to receive a CDP credential. (Included in application.)
  • Four (4) hours of HIV/AIDS education and training
  • The application fee
  • Completed out of state verification forms sent directly from each state (if applicable)
