Urgent message for Dental Assistants, Physical Therapist Assistants, and Athletic Trainers.

The Department of Health is allowing applicants in three new professions: dental assistant, physical therapist assistant, and athletic trainers, an additional 31 days to provide materials for health professional licenses. Those who did not apply by December 31 aren't allowed to work until they have a license. Those who met the December deadline and have submitted all necessary materials by January 31 will be allowed to work without their new license until the end of February. During this time, the department will process their applications. None of these professionals will be allowed to work as of March 1, if they are not licensed.
