The Department of
Health is reviewing the proposed sale of Deaconess Medical Center and
Valley Hospital and Medical Center in Spokane. This will also include an
affiliated review of the proposed shift of the hospitals
from non-profit to private ownership.

The
department is accepting written comments on the proposed
sale of Deaconess Medical Center and Valley Hospital and
Medical Center. Mailing and email addresses are listed
below. The department will also hold two public hearings on
the sale. These hearings will allow you to give direct comment on the sale of the two
hospitals.
