A licensee must apply for license renewal annual on or before the
expiration date of the current license. You can send the payment by
mail. Be sure that your correspondence is postmarked no later than
midnight of the license renewal due date. Our office is open 8-4:30 if
you need to bring the payment in personally. For renewals, we need:
- A "Notice to Renew" on a form provided by the department
which will be mailed
to you.

Disclosure statements and criminal history background checks obtained
within three months of the license renewal date for the administrator in
accordance with chapter 43.43 RCW.
- The licensing fee specified in WAC 246-337-990.
We will mail the "Notice to Renew" about 45 days before the
due date (30 days prior to license expiration). At this time, we do not have any way for you to pay
your fees on the web or over the phone.
An applicant must pass, to the satisfaction of the department, an on-site
survey prior to the department issuing an initial license.

Late Renewals:
If you do not get your "Notice to Renew" and fee to us by the time listed
on your renewal notice, a late fee is added to the license fee:
Late Fee: A late fee of $25 per bed/per day up to a maximum
of $500 in addition to the full
license fee will be required if the full license fee is not received by the
department on the due date.
