The department has reviewed the first round of public proposals.  A Report on Proposals (ROP) is available which outlines all proposals submitted along with department responses.  Based on the ROP, the draft ASF rules have been updated showing the various revision options.  Interested parties are encouraged to review the ROP, review the updated draft rules and submit comments either supporting specific options or suggesting alternatives.  Public comment forms can be submitted in the following ways:

The department is requesting that public comment forms be submitted beginning August 22, 2008 and ending September 12, 2008.
After the public comment period ends, September 12, the department will notify interested parties of next steps in the rule development process.
