Video Conference
HPSA/MUP Proposed Rules Update

April 9, 2008
1:30-3:30pm

The Federal Health Resources and Services Administration has published draft rules for comment regarding calculations to determine Federal Health Professional Shortage Areas. Comments are due April 29, 2008. The Office of Community and Rural Health has taken the draft rules and estimated the impact to Washington State. We would like to invite you to review our findings and share your comments. 

We have set up a video conference April 9, 2008 from 1:30-3:30 pm. Please join us at one of the State Department of Health (DOH) sites:

§         Tumwater - Town Center East (TC1) Rm 163

§         Seattle - Public Health Lab  Rm S-4

§         Spokane - Conference Room 3

§         Kent - Creekside Three at Center Point  Rm 1

For directions to the DOH sites, click http://www.doh.wa.gov/DOHDirections/default.htm. Additional sites for the video conference are Othello Community Hospital, and Coulee Community Hospital. Please RSVP to Robin Walker robin.walker@doh.wa.gov or 360-236-2810 so she can let the sites know who is planning to attend.
