In the spring of 2001, the Washington State Board of Health surveyed more than 70 public health professionals, policy makers, analysts, advocates, practitioners, and faculty members and asked them about the information sources they relied on most. We asked them about reliable and influential Web sites, electronic newsletters, and journals, and about organizations that sponsor useful conferences. The following list contains links to publications and organizations that received multiple mentions in the survey, as well as come links commonly used by Board staff. Items preceded by caducei were mentioned most often.
Board staff members monitor related Web sites, journals, newsletters, electronic alerts for items to include in FYI, a list of research and resources prepared monthly for members of the Board and available to the public.
