Notice of Sole Source Contracts and Procurements

If the Department of Health is considering awarding a sole source contract, the information is posted below. Sole source contracts are available for public review for at least 10 working days before the contract starts.


L117314 – Marion/Canberra - Purchase of Alpha Analyst (PDF)

Purpose:  Sole Source purchase to Mirion/Canberra to provide an Alpha Analyst equipped with eight spectrometers and ion-implanted alpha particle detectors. This instrument will be used at the Department of Health’s Public Health Laboratories Office of Environmental Laboratory Sciences to perform simultaneous Alpha Spectroscopic measurements on multiple test sources.


PRV26023-0, Desautel Hege Communications (PDF)

Purpose: Sole Source contract implement a suicide prevention campaign for tribal communities that will build upon existing guidance provided by tribal partners and prior prevention accomplishments. DH has identified synergies between campaign stakeholders, audiences, and goals that can align and help maximize budget and impact. In this work, DOH will also work with HCA and DH to build a suicide prevention campaign that will accompany and compliment the WA Tribal Opioid Solutions campaign. DH brings knowledge and expertise about established best practices, processes, and relationships to coordinate effectively and maximize outreach in suicide prevention efforts.


PRV25726 Universal Developmental Screening (PDF)

Purpose: The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) contemplates awarding a sole source contract to Care Coordination Systems LLC (CCS) to provide all the necessary personnel, equipment, goods and services and otherwise do all things necessary for or incidental to the performance of building a statewide Universal Developmental Screening (UDS) repository of child screening and referral data; to include annual maintenance and licensing for the five-year period of the contract.


PRV25936-0 Ahlers and Associates -  Maintaining Sexual and Reproductive Health Program Database (PDF)

Purpose: Sole Source to Provide funds for maintaining a database to collect and report Sexual & Reproductive Health Program (SRHP) data provided by SRHP direct service contractors and to provide technical assistance and training to the department and SRHP direct service contractors on collecting and reporting this data.
