Profile
Immunization has proven to be the most effective way to
control the spread of diseases that can be prevented, which are
at record low levels. The Immunization Program CHILD Profile
continues to work for a safer and healthier Washington and is
committed to:
- Preventing the occurrence and transmission of childhood,
adolescent, and adult diseases that can be prevented.

Ensuring that parents, health care providers, and state and
local health agencies work together to promote healthy
families and to increase use of preventive health care for
children and adolescents.

Providing vaccines to all children under age 19, regardless
of income, through state and federal funding, including the
Vaccines for Children program.
