Waste Management

  • Chapter 246-249 WAC Use of the Commercial Disposal Site.

  • Chapter 246-250 WAC Licensing Land Disposal.

  • Chapter 246-252 WAC Uranium and/or Thorium Milling.

 

The Waste Management Section licenses and regulates the commercial low-level radioactive waste disposal site, uranium millsite, and radioactive waste processor in the state of Washington to ensure the health and safety of site employees, the public, and protection of the environment.
